Youth Leadership Summit

The Concerned Black Men of Nacogdoches hosted it's 3rd annual Rising Leaders leadership summit on Wed April 24, 2019. The leadership summit was opened with the focus of the summit by GW Neal, then the introduction of leadership was done by Coach Kellogg (SFA Ladyjacks Basketball). There were breakout sessions to include avoiding distractions(Linda Harris SFA School of Social Work), Looking at SFA (Jack Walkers), successful scheduling(Tennille Williams NHS Counselor), Dominate your 1st quarter (Summer Norman Chireno ISD counselor), Academics/Athletics (Bobby Reyes Retired NISD Athletic Director), Telling our story (SFA student representatives and Men of Achievement). The leadership summit was attending by 70 NISD county 8th grade student to include Woden ISD, Etoile ISD, Chireno ISD, Garrison ISD, McMichael Middle School, Mike Moses Middle School.
